Cultural Experiences
Natsu Matsuri invites you to immerse yourself into the experience of a summer festival in Japan. The food that we serve is that which you’d find at a Japanese festival…Karaage, Yakisoba, Somen, Grilled Ika and Shrimp and more. You can experience and learn about Japanese sake, and we even have a beer garden.
Hands on cultural experiences include origami making, calligraphy and ikebana (Japanese-style flower arrangement).
We also invite you to visit our nonprofit booths. Learn about what is happening in the local Japanese American community.
HANDS ON EXPERIENCES include:
Suzuki Origami Art, Yosai Calligraphy and Ikebana Konobo.
INFORMATIONAL BOOTHS include:
Historic Wintersburg, the WWII Camp Wall, the Little Tokyo Historical Society, Tuna Canyon Detention Station and Nikkei Media
